Posh Textiles connects New York-based client service and design collaboration with textile development at our Bengaluru mill. Together, we help designers discover and develop distinctive materials for hospitality, workplace, healthcare, senior living, and shared environments.
Our approach brings design, material knowledge, manufacturing insight, and responsive project support into one relationship—helping turn an initial idea into a textile suited to the way a space must look, feel, and perform.
Our story
A textile perspective shaped across cultures and generations
The Posh story brings together India’s textile heritage and the needs of today’s professional design community. What began with an appreciation for woven craft has developed into a broader textile practice informed by color, pattern, construction, performance, and the realities of commercial interiors.
Our Bengaluru mill remains central to that story. It connects skilled textile knowledge with contemporary development and manufacturing capabilities, giving our team a direct understanding of how an idea moves from yarn and construction to a finished material.
In New York, we work closely with designers, specifiers, purchasers, and project teams—translating creative direction and technical requirements into practical textile solutions.
From concept to textile
Collaboration that continues beyond the first sample
Every project begins with a different combination of visual direction, performance requirements, timing, and budget. Our role is to understand those priorities and help identify the most appropriate path—whether that means selecting from the existing collection or developing something more specific.
Posh can support custom colors and patterns, adjustments to scale, changes in fiber content or construction, and treatments for particular end uses. Through sampling and iteration, the design and manufacturing teams work together to refine the material before production.
This direct relationship helps clients move from inspiration to specification with clearer communication and fewer handoffs.

Selecting a textile is easier when the team understands the complete design direction. Clients can share interior photographs, drawings, reference fabrics, concepts, or mood boards so the Posh team can respond with a more focused material recommendation.
That process may begin with an existing textile, a curated sample selection, or a conversation about custom development. The objective is the same: reduce uncertainty and help the project team make a confident material decision.

Responsibility extends beyond the finished textile. Across our work, we are seeking ways to make more considered material choices, reduce manufacturing waste, support the people behind our products, and contribute to the communities connected to the business.
Durability is part of that responsibility. A textile designed for its intended application, supported by clear technical information and properly maintained, can remain useful for longer and reduce unnecessary replacement.
